Welcome to the website for the Oxford-Henderson Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated

We are members of the most outstanding Sisterhood in the world – a Sisterhood of more than 300,000 initiated members and 1000 chartered chapters in the United States, Canada, Japan (Tokyo and Okinawa), Germany, the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Jamaica, West Africa, Southern Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and the Republic of Korea.

Oxford-Henderson Alumnae Chapter is unique among Delta chapters since it is composed of members from North Carolina and Virginia. Our service area covers Franklin County, Granville County, Vance County, and Warren County in North Carolina, and Mecklenburg County in Virginia.

We are college-educated women seeking to provide caring, effective, and efficient public service to our community. For over 77 years, we have been serving our community and delivering programs in sync with our Grand Chapter’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust which is:

  • Economic Development – Financial Fortitude webinars; Grow with Google
  • Educational Development – Delta Academy; Jabberwock
  • Physical and Mental Health – COVID-19 vaccination clinics
  • International Involvement and Awareness – World AIDS Day Testing event
  • Political Awareness and Involvement – Biennial Social Action Luncheon awarding Andrea Harris Social Action Award; Get Out The Vote mini-grants, street signs and church fans
