Political Awareness & Involvement
The Political Awareness Program of the Oxford-Henderson Alumnae Chapter (OHAC) aims to educate members and the community about political issues, policies, and the democratic process. It seeks to empower individuals to understand and analyze political systems, policies, and their impact on marginalized communities.
Within this program, OHAC organizes workshops, seminars, and forums that provide information on various political topics. These events may cover areas such as voter education, voter registration, advocacy, and grassroots organizing. OHAC also encourages its members to actively participate in local, state, and national elections.
